The Archives Assistant's fourth album comes courtesy of Finlands Hyster Tapes(their first release on CD). The album was inspired by the summer in rural Ontario, Canada. Television Road is the ironic name for the gateway that links the community of Peterborough to the forests and lakes of the Canadian Shield. Using field recordings of these areas, the Archives Assistant has created a meditative, occasionally raucous celebration of adventure through music. the sonic equivalent of a trip to the forest. For fans of GAS, Zoviet France, and 'Chill-Out' era KLF.
